These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lettervolt mobile application ("the App") developed by Nikolai Liapin, operating as Liapinsoft. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Lettervolt Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
3. Account Registration
- You may need to create an account to access certain features.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You are responsible for all activities under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You must not create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or tournaments.
4. Use of the App
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, or unauthorized third-party software
- Modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any part of the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or connected servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
- Manipulate tournament results or leaderboard rankings
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Collect personal information of other users
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscriptions
- Lettervolt Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($4.99/month).
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
- No refunds for partial subscription periods.
Cosmetic Items
- Cosmetic purchases (themes, letter styles, profile frames) are one-time purchases.
- Cosmetic items provide no gameplay advantage.
- Cosmetic items are non-transferable and tied to your account.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including text, graphics, logos, audio, software, and game mechanics — are the property of Nikolai Liapin and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Fair Play Policy
Violations include:
- Using automated tools or scripts
- Exploiting bugs or glitches (please report them instead)
- Colluding with other players to manipulate tournaments
- Creating multiple accounts for unfair advantages
Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account termination.
8. Termination
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. I do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nikolai Liapin from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws.
