Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Pipe Puzzle Waterworks (also referred to as "Pipe Puzzle", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. The App is published in the Apple App Store under the name "Pipe Puzzle Waterworks". We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. By using the App, you agree to the data practices described in this policy.

Summary

Pipe Puzzle Waterworks is a single-player offline puzzle game. The App itself does not require an account, does not transmit gameplay data to us, and stores your records and preferences only on your device. The App does, however, display advertising provided by Google AdMob and offers an in-app purchase to remove those ads. Advertising and the in-app purchase involve limited data collection by third parties, described below.

Information We Collect

The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit personally identifying information about you. We do not maintain user accounts and we do not run a backend server. The third-party services bundled with the App (Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, and Apple StoreKit) collect a limited set of data on our behalf so that ads can be served and purchases can be processed. The categories below match what is declared in our App Store privacy questionnaire and the App's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, microphone audio, camera input, or health data. The App does not require an account and never asks you to log in.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores a small amount of game-related data locally using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults and the Documents directory). This data never leaves your device and includes:

This data is stored solely on your device, is not accessible to us or any third party, and is automatically removed when you uninstall the App. You can also reset progress from the Settings screen within the App.

Advertising

Pipe Puzzle is supported by Google AdMob interstitial ads that appear after a level ends. These ads are delivered, measured, and (when you grant tracking permission) personalized by Google. Google's collection and use of data through the Google Mobile Ads SDK is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

In-App Purchases

Pipe Puzzle offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase, "Remove Ads", which permanently disables interstitial advertising for your Apple ID on any device that signs into the same account. Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We never see your payment information. If you reinstall the App on a new device, tap Restore Purchases in Settings to reactivate the entitlement.

App Tracking Transparency

The App requests tracking permission using Apple's standard App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt the first time you start a round (Play, Continue, or New Game). Granting permission lets the Google Mobile Ads SDK use your device's advertising identifier to deliver more relevant ads and to measure ad performance. Declining the prompt does not prevent ads from showing — it only means ads will not be personalized. Your choice is recorded by iOS and respected by the App and the AdMob SDK.

Third-Party Services

Pipe Puzzle integrates the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

The App does not use any other analytics, crash-reporting, attribution, or social-media SDKs.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data. The data described in "Information We Collect" is shared only with the third-party services that need it to operate (Google AdMob for ad serving, Apple StoreKit for purchase processing, Google UMP for consent management). We do not transfer data to advertising data brokers or to any party for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond what AdMob does under your declared consent.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to any data carried over.

Data Retention

Local game data persists on your device until you reset progress within the App or uninstall the App. We have no ability to access, retrieve, or restore your locally stored data. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's data retention practices. Apple's purchase records are governed by the Apple Media Services Terms.

Children's Privacy

Pipe Puzzle is rated 4+ and is suitable for general audiences, but it is not directed at children under 13 and is not configured as a child-directed app under COPPA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App's AdMob configuration is not flagged as child-directed; if you believe a child has been served personalized advertising in error, please contact us using the details below and we will help disable the device's IDFA via the iOS Tracking settings.

Your Rights

You can exercise the following rights at any time:

California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the CPRA sense beyond the AdMob personalization you explicitly consent to via the ATT prompt. You may exercise the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt-out by contacting us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the legal basis for our processing of your data is your consent (collected through the Google User Messaging Platform consent dialog), our legitimate interest in serving ads to keep the App free, and the performance of a contract for in-app purchases. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

International Data Transfers

Google AdMob processes data in the United States and other countries. By using the App and granting tracking consent, you acknowledge that your advertising identifier and ad-interaction data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

Data Security

Locally stored game data is protected by your device's own security measures (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, file system encryption). Data transmitted to AdMob and StoreKit travels over HTTPS. We do not maintain servers that store user data, so there is no developer-side database that could be breached.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or in release notes. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
